Kick-starting his career at Acer Group, Lee quickly progressed his way through a diverse range of positions in manufacturing, marketing, sales and strategic planning, with eventually assuming the position of Vice President of Acer, Inc.
In 1991, Lee transferred as President to Acer Peripherals, and in 2000, Acer Peripherals became Acer Communications and Multimedia (ACM), which reflected Lee’s vision for the company’s strategic move from a peripherals company to a communications, optical and multimedia powerhouse. In 2001, ACM adopted the name BenQ to better reflect its focus on ‘Bringing Enjoyment and Quality to Life’ and integrating technologies for modern digital lifestyles. In 2005, BenQ has accumulated industry insight to further solidify its 3C strengths and brand prowess in hopes to launch the BenQ brand onto the world stage.
Under Lee’s leadership, BenQ’s vertical integration business strategy has been essential to its rapid growth and expansion. In his free time, Lee enjoys reading and shares an interest and passion for history. He also enjoys numerous of outdoor activities including hiking and mountain climbing. Leading by example, Lee makes recommendations to BenQ’s internal book club and leads the annual BenQ Olympiad as well as the annual Yushan Mountain (3992 meter in height) executive climb in southern Taiwan.
Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.

President & CEO, BenQ Corporation
As President of BenQ Corporation, Conway Lee oversees the company’s worldwide development and operations, including sales, product management and marketing, new business development and global distribution chain management. His goal of helping BenQ grow as a world-leading human technology and solutions provider has had Lee focusing the company’s R&D investments on technological innovations while responding vigorously to the rapid change of needs in lifestyle, business, healthcare and education with a wide portfolio of people-driven products spanning digital projectors, professional monitors, digital signage, interactive large-format displays, imaging solutions, mobile computing devices, and lighting solutions.
From 1998 to Sept. 2008, Lee led the charge in development of BenQ’s European regional sales and marketing network, as well as establishing new business models that included marketing strategies and channel policies. Under his leadership, BenQ Europe has achieved a 400% revenue growth since 1998, with branch offices located in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Russia, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Romania, and the Czech Republic. In 2006, he served as General Manager of BenQ’s Digital Media Business Group before assuming his current position in September 2007.
Prior to joining BenQ in 1998, Lee worked with the Acer Group from 1989 to 1998. Lee holds an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi in the United States. Lee holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in the United States.
General Manager, BenQ Technology Product Center
Peter Y.F. Huang
Peter YF Huang was appointed General Manager of BenQ Technology Product Center in December 2013. In his capacity as GM, Huang oversees the strategic planning, product development, procurement and marketing of all product lines.
Drawing from the marketing knowledge acquired from IDP of UC Berkeley Extension, and blending that with his extensive background in science and engineering and more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Huang brings to the playing field unique perspectives and orientations on the market that in turn sparks and fuels the strategic development of BenQ’s products. Particularly, Huang has a keen eye for changing times and consumer needs. This not only helps him stay a step ahead but also ensures that every product is developed to strategically answer market demand and every marketing campaign is executed to build new success for the company.
Huang joined BenQ in 1993, when he was responsible for the development and management of the company’s laser printer, scanner and digital camera lines. He was promoted in 2008 to lead the projector business through five consecutive years of strong growth, outperforming revenue and market share targets, and more importantly turning BenQ into the number-one DLP® projector brand in the world. In 2012, Huang assumed the role of General Manager, Display Products Business Group. During which, he achieved unparalleled niche market success with award-winning professional gaming monitors, bringing the business around and turning his vision into revenue.
Huang holds a Master of Management Science degree and a Bachelor of Control Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan.
Vice President of Marketing, BenQ Corporation
As the Vice President of Marketing, Adrian Chang plays a pivotal role in fostering and growing the BenQ brand into a world-leading human technology and solutions provider. He is the mastermind directing all strategic branding efforts, with the aim to expand the corporate vision of Bringing Enjoyment ‘N’ Quality Life and infuse the brand philosophy of “Because it matters” into every product and service messaging.
Chang is also the Chairman and President of eBook Taiwan Corporation. Co-founded by BenQ Corporation and eBook Japan in 2009, eBook Taiwan is the first integrated e-book contents platform enabling contents publication and sales & marketing of digital contents.
Chang holds an Executive MBA from National Taiwan University and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from National Chengchi University, Taiwan.
President, BenQ America
Lars Yoder currently serves as the President of BenQ America and is responsible for general management, regional sales & marketing, operations, and business development in the United States and Canada.
Prior to joining BenQ America, Mr. Yoder held a variety of business and marketing positions with Texas Instruments Corporation including Vice President and General Manager of the Company's DLP Front Projection Business. During his time leading DLP Front Projection, the business grew to record levels of revenue & profit and worldwide market share rose from 20% to over 50%. Lars also had success creating new markets and working closely with customers to bring highly differentiated products to the marketplace.
Mr. Yoder enjoys spending time with his wife and five children in his spare time. He earned his B.S. in Optics from the Hajim School of Engineering and his MBA from the Simon Graduate School of Business, both at the University of Rochester in New York, USA.
President, BenQ Asia Pacific
Adams Lee serves as President of BenQ Asia Pacific Corp., responsible for BenQ’s regional operations in Asia-Pacific , which is comprised of Australia, Japan, Korea, South East Asia, India, Middle East and Africa.
Lee was previously President of BenQ Europe, overseeing the strategic planning and development of BenQ's branded business in the region. Prior to this role, he served as Director of BenQ Europe’s sales and marketing team, with the mission of expanding the company’s sales channel network in Europe and overseeing all operations in the U.K. and Benelux. During his post, Lee achieved remarkable sales growth for the entire product lineup despite the unfavorable odds of the overall environment. With operations successfully turned around, BenQ’s projector market share in Europe grew from 8% in 2008 to 20% in Q2 2014. The high-end 1080p video projector sector alone grew from single digit in 2008 to 35% in Q1 2014. Furthermore, BenQ’s professional gaming monitors had become the dream model among serious gamers and brought outstanding sales results. All these had strengthened BenQ’s brand position among its target audience while bringing significant contribution to the company’s capability.
Since joining BenQ in 2000, Lee has held key positions for various units of the company, including the global headquarters, Product Technology Center, European headquarters, and Asia-Pacific headquarters, mainly responsible for the business development and product management/planning of BenQ digital projector business. Following the over 10-year cross-section and cross-regional posts, Adams Lee has accumulated abundant experience in new market development, management of local team, and sales-channel management. During his first post in Europe from 2002 through 2005, he joined hands with the local team in achieving an astounding 12 times sales growth for the projector business during the three-year period.
Adams Lee graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Taiwan University, and holds an MBA degree from National Cheng Chi University, Taiwan.
President, BenQ China
Michael Tseng is President of BenQ China, responsible for all of BenQ China’s operations and strategy. Tseng has over 20 years of professional experience in product line management, marketing and business operation through his various roles at the headquarters and the Greater China practices. Tseng also serves as General Manager of BenQ Entertainment Inc., where he plays a pivotal role in leading the creation, promotion and expansion of brilliant film work for theatrical, television and home entertainment across Asia.
Tseng first joined BenQ in 1994 as the product manager of the CD-ROM product line, placed in charge of the worldwide marketing and distribution of BenQ CD-ROMs. During which, he spearheaded the global expansion of the company’s OEM business and marketing channels, leading BenQ into a top-five global CD-ROM brand with growing distribution channels throughout the U.S., Japan, Korea, Europe and Taiwan.
In 1997, Tseng was expatriated to Suzhou, China with the mission to introduce the BenQ brand into the country. He singlehandedly established the BenQ China office and assembled its first-ever marketing team. Under his leadership, the office expanded from a crew of three to a full-scale national business operations command center of more than 900 employees. Together, phenomenal brand influence was achieved nationwide in a few years’ time. BenQ became a leading brand in China’s traditional PC peripherals market and a lifestyle brand that brought endless enjoyment to contemporary living through the introduction of fresh, stylish products.
A highly driven business leader with a strong passion in cultivating young talents and building corporate culture, Tseng has coached countless BenQ superstars in company workshops and distributors’ meetings. A recipient of numerous business operations, marketing and leadership awards, Tseng is often invited to esteemed colleges and universities as their guest of honor and speaker, which he takes the opportunity to spread BenQ seeds as he tours around the country.
Tseng earned a bachelor’s degree in Marine Technology from National Chiao Tung University and a master’s degree in Power Mechanical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan prior to furthering his studies in the Graduate Institute of Industrial Management at University of Missouri, U.S.A. in 1989. Tseng was later sent by the company to Lausanne, Switzerland to receive advanced management courses at the world-renowned International Institute for Management Development – IMD.
President, BenQ Europe
Pete Wang was recently appointed President of BenQ Europe, bringing over 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, operations, and business development to his new responsibilities. Wang has progressed through a series of leadership roles at BenQ, including an expatriate assignment to BenQ Europe from 2002 to 2005 as the business manager of the LCD team. During which, Wang achieved immense success driving high annual revenue growth from scratch and turning the brand into a top player in Europe. The product line became the biggest revenue contributor in the business portfolio of BenQ Europe and of the regional mix of global LCD business. An open-minded leader known for his innovative thinking, engaging personality and excellent teamwork skills, Wang is expected to bring new dynamics to the multi-culture team and broaden the talent pipeline.
Most recently, Wang served as Director of Consumer Cloud Product Business Unit, where he was responsible for the consolidated P&L and the development of new business categories. He was put in charge to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of key departments within the unit. Prior to that role, Wang oversaw the consolidated P&L and led the development of the company’s digital camera business as Director of DSC Product Business Unit. Under his leadership, the teams successfully managed a remarkable revenue growth and contribution margin growth for consecutive years.
Wang held various senior management positions in business development, channel management and operations within the company early in his career, providing functional oversight of business strategies and operations of the system and display product lines. Wang was outstanding in surpassing the targeted profitability, productivity and growth with high success rates.
Wang earned his Bachelors of Business Admiration degree from National Cheng Kung University and his Master of Business Administration degree from National Sun Yat-Sen University.
President, BenQ Latin America
Peter Tan currently serves as President of BenQ Latin America Corp. and is responsible for IT and consumer electronics business development for Central America, the Caribbean Islands and South America. As from 2006, Peter Tan has also been appointed to Administrator of BenQ Brazil with focus on IT and consumer electronics’ product lines.
Joining BenQ in 2001 as Vice President of BenQ Latin America, Tan led the role of regional sales & marketing operations of South America, Central America and the Mexico market. As one of the leading catalysts for the launch and development of the BenQ brand in the Latin America region, Tan contributed to the establishment of the Latin-America business distribution network as well as all local service networks in that region. In addition to developing comprehensive business network and distributions for the company, Tan, recognizing the importance of talent incubation, has actively taken the initiatives to recruit, train and retain the most talented young professionals for BenQ companies in Latin America.
Prior to joining BenQ, Tan held several positions at Acer, including Vice President of Acer Latin America, and has been conferred the presidential award for the first multiple channel and record high revenue contributor in the South Korean market. Prior to joining Acer Latin America in 1998, Tan served as General Manager at Samsung Electronics from 1996 to 1998 where he was appointed Head of Strategic Planning which achieved consecutive profitable years.
Aside from being highly active in community service in both the educational and business areas, Tan is also Director of the Taiwan Business Association in Florida, and Chinese language school in Miami, US.
Tan holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois in the United States.
